This is a multi-part message in MIME format. -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] Fucking steam.dll was updated and I was using an old one. The way in which everything is set up is just asking for catastrophe. Its just too god damn stupid. First of all the steamapp config doest even work if you have a / after the path so c:\steam will work but c:\steam\ wont work. I mean it will cause some pretty unrelated errors. I donno, maybe its just me, but leaning this new steam system is a pain in the ass. Maybe if valve set up some developer site with FAQ or at least some simple set up tutorials, it would save at least me, a lot of grief. I mean I the outdated steam.dll. How the hell am I supposed to figure that out. That was a stretch, I mean it took about 20 mins of being frustrated and guess and check work. But I mean, they could have avoided that problem by figuring out a way to not have 2 copies of the same file floating around and only 1 being updated. Granted I wont make the mistake again, but I know I wont be the last person too.
