Hey,

Since the new steam update some time ago always seems to overwrite the
liblist.gam file, bot-users need to force the file to be 'read-only' so
steam cannot eliminate bot usage. However, this method is _not_ handy
when steam actually IS updated and CS too, users experience trouble with
a mismatched liblist.gam file, version numbers won't be correct anymore
either.

Therefor a little request, could steam just only do this ONCE? Its okay
when steam updates and such and then overwrites my original file but it
would be just ok if it did this once, so i don't have to 'mess around'.

Another issue, this is only when users never have ran a lan game
before... As soon as they install bots and then try to create a lan
game, then HL will crash because there is no MP.DLL file. This is also
happening when you have updated to a new MOD version (CS in this case),
the MP.DLL gets 'deleted' and i have to create a new lan game without
bots to create one, after that everything is okay.

So in general:
- liblist.gam (Counter-Strike) may overwrite original only after update,
not everytime i run cs/steam
- mp.dll should be created immidiatly after updating, no need to run a
lan game first to ensure other dll's will work at once and users don't
have to think about 'fixing' something first before able to play
'offline'.

Thanks in advance for any reply,

S. Hendriks
