Sorry, this mail is long, boring, and OFF-TOPIC. Fortunally enough, Its also boring for me, so this is my last mail about the topic.
I read good responses on this threads for others guys. Looks like a good advice is to avoid other people IP and generate our own IP.

er, that's because both of those activities are illegal.
The coolness about C&S letter is that you dont need to proff that. People runaway because lack the money and lawyers. Its like dark ages on europe: the lords always right and onlaw, and villagers the illegal and evile.
[#1] You are right because you have the money.
Also because corporations put money on law makings and individuals not, so the law is customized to corporationds needs. Usa word for that is lobby*.
[#2] If you are wrong, you can change the law with more money.
One feeds off the Blizzard franchise and makes them lose sales on their *craft games,
Yes, everything with *craft is owned by Blizzard.

and the other is completely illegal and goes against their End User Lisence Agreement (my GSP looked into doing this some time ago and decided against it because of that).
The EULA is not a law, Its a contract. And you cant broken a contract you have not sign. No one on Freecraft or BNETD have sign that EULA.
For gods sake, Freecraft is a generic RTS with tolkien-is monsters, the only link is somewhat similar chars on name. Its preposterous!
Its the RTS genre original, or a ripoff of older titles? What Warcraft the first RTS? Whats Dune2? Whats Napoleon Bonaparte (that french general) and his table wargames?
Sue Napoleon Bonaparte!
The bnetd effectively circumvents the cd key protection, put in place for obvious reasons.
Also pens circumbents protections, and the shift key on keyboards, and linux, and mac*. Any no-Adobe Postscript able you to print any PDF, even "protected" ones.
You will jail pens makers, keyboard makers, Apple guys and Steven Jobs, the ghostscript coders, and whatever not work with lame protection schemes?
BNETD its NOT a crack, or a keygen, Its a tool to play the game you pay for the way you want to play it.
Humm... the dog byte the hand that feeds here.
BAD DOG, BAD!!
If Blizzard choose to force the game to be completely based on their Battle.NET servers when played online that's their choice.
No.
If General Motors choice to force General Motors Oil on General Motors cars its not is choice.
If I buy a General Motors car and want to crash the car against a tree only because I like the resulting metal scrap, Its my car. I pay for the dawn car. I own the car.
Anyway, wen you buy a General Motors car you sign a contract. But If you code a interoperativity tool you sign nothing, so you need to obey no constructor rules.
I dont need to obey General Motors rules about how to cross the street, because I have not sign nothing, not GM EULA. So I can cross the street at my will.
Its not the choice of Blizzard to rule on other people code.
BAD DOG!.. DONT BYTE THE HAND!
note: Blizzard make fantastic good games. I like Blizzard, but I hate C&D letters.
