latest drivers, which have additions only for 6xxx family. I've downloaded them and... nothing happened. I've set settings to minimum. Still everything starts to shake after game launch, when only main menu without background map is loaded, or after 10-15 minutes of the game.

Re-check the GPU fan its clean, because _maybe_ HL2 app use your GPU much more than other apps and HOT create the problem. Often hot cpu/gpu self-shutdown to protect itself. Overclocking its something even add more hot, maybe you can overclock your GPU and add a better much more powerfull fan.
Can you profile the GPU usage? Its 100% with HL2 and less with other games? You can try with lower resolution, less fx, etc.. Can you track C� on you GPU?
