We have found the problem. You get this error if your steam path has a
space in it (i.e c:\program files\valve\steam ). We are working on a
fix, in the meantime you can work around the problem by moving Steam to
a path without a space (i.e c:\steam ) and then deleting your
ClientRegistry.blob.
