GDC was looking like the place to be, and the project that i am working on, Birthstar: Frontline, had to change directions ~ a month ago and GDC is no longer the goal.
I am still ~ 5 minutes from the convention center and may be able to pull a couple strings and at least sit in on one or two of the talks, which was my original goal. i dont really care what gets me in the door. Its what happens after im in there that counts.
