-- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] I'm trying to toy around with the idea of running the latest version of Hammer off a USB thumbdrive. I have ample amount of space for the executable, and the only textures I'd need are the dev_measure* ones, so space is not a problem. It's just a matter of getting Hammer to run without Steam. I don't care about anything else - I just want to work on my maps wherever I want to without being tied to my own computer. It's a matter of convenience, really.
Is there any way to run Hammer without Steam? I doubt that Hammer really *needs* Steam at all to run. I'd use 3.5, but it doesn't have features such as displacement editing and whatnot. -- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
