Well I made a little more progress on
http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SDK_Known_Issues_List#Will_not_link_fully_on_Linux
but any use of the SDK is now blocked needing the
"VectorRotate(Vector const&, QAngle const&, Vector&)"
symbol that Valve seemingly failed to provide.
