It happens constantlly, ever since the new Steam community thing came out..
(where it asks you to shift+tab).
I can't get a bloody 3rd party mod to run at all. I can run the steam SDK
Base Video Stress Test just fine.

FYI, my system is
Intel Core2 Duo 2.8 gig   w/ 2gigs of RAM
Nvidia 7900 GT + 512 megs of RAM
Windows XP Professional SP2.

I've had this reported by my players in random cases, and I've heard a
lot of complaints about it with the recent release of Fortress Forever.
  Are you saying it happens consistently?  I've never experienced it
myself, but it seems to happen randomly.
