Hey list, got animations working for my ammo pickup, now thought I'd try to change the explosions. but dear me how is it done?
a long time ago I tried this as well but then simply replaced zerogexplode.vtf with another, it worked then but I can't seem to get it to work now anymore. in the code there's 2 places some index is made and precached, but even altering those 2 doesn't change a thing.. in fact several weeks back I changed a index of something but it didnt change a thing... what are these indexes for and why can't I even replace the explosion anymore, if I can't even replace it how I'm supposed to make new ones... can't find documentation on this on the VDC either.. at first glance it seems simple enough until the point you find out that even changing the indexes doesn't seem to do a thing... what exactly determines the explosion effect? seems the index but then it doesn't make sense that changing it doesn't alter the effect at all.. code is compiling without errors so changes are being accepted... so .... anybody know? _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
