My mod based on Source SDK Base 2006 is now prompting people to update their Source SDK Base 2006 to the new content system, and after it finishes, they are getting “STEAM validation rejected” errors whenever they try to connect to dedicated servers. Listen servers work fine, the game runs fine, etc.
Any idea on what could be the cause, or what needs to be updated? To get a game or mod distributed by Steam, you still need to go through Greenlight. -- Nicholas Hastings AlliedMods.net Jorge Rodriguez Saturday, October 12, 2013 2:37 PM I saw this item in the last Steam client update changelog: http://store.steampowered.com/news/11597/ Does anybody know what this is all about? I sure would love to be able to use the new content system to distribute my 3rd party Source mod :) -- Jorge "Vino" Rodríguez [ Tw | Fb | G+ | Ht ] _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders -- Jorge "Vino" Rodríguez [ Tw | Fb | G+ | Ht ] -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: https://list.valvesoftware.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
