I thought the autoupdate came with the 1107 patch? but anyway .. when I
was hitting dead ends with fileplanet and counter-strike.net and where ever
else I tried, I figured I'd use the autoupdate ... Maybe it would come
from somewhere else ... and I could get the update ... After the
AutoUpdate updated itself, it told me my HalfLife was up to date ... so
.... I think most people prefer the download of the patch that they can
run anyway, but I understand your concerns ...
