I asked Erik about this earlier. Before the release he informed the
mirrors to delete the old hlupdate.exe and csupdate.exe files. They
apparently would not work with this release (something to do with DMC).
He said the newest update programs should be on Sierra's site IIRC. I
havent checked. Isnt their an update option inside the client now (or at
least it wraps one)? I assumed it would update the updater if it needed
it, then grab the HL/CS updates. That's the way I've always seen it
work.
