When you are setting up the service, select "Log on: This account" and
enter a valid username and password for your server (make sure that the
username/pass combo you use has sufficient permissions to run your HL
server). Setting it up to run this way will ensure that the service will
start after a remote reboot.

Subject: semi-[OT] Win 2K by pass log on
I appreciate the post regarding FireDaemon and will use it on my win 2K
server.
One problem i forsee is that if i had to restart the system, it would ask me
to log on. That would stop win 2K from loading and then running the
services??
How can i configure win 2K so that a remote restart will allow it to start
the services?
thank you
Devin
