What patch are you trying to run? I don't think you can run the HL1108 patch on blueshift. I didn't see an opposing force 1108 patch either. Most likely nothing changed, or valve is no longer supporting this.

Seeing as I can read the menus, I believe I have the english version, but it seems to think I have no language version. I think this has something to do with the sierra.inf or language.inf files, but I'm not sure. If someone (that has the patch working) could send a copy of those files for me to compare?
