Doubtful. Disc access time doesn't give much performace penalty. Plus a systemcrash with ramdisks can be a total mess to sort out. The ram is much better used as just RAM. If you want to experiment though, get a huge amount of ram and try running windows from a ramdisk. That would give better performance since everything is in memory. It's probably not possible on the other hand. =)
