We think alike ooks, I just dont know why they would bother mentioning it at
all if they are not going to provide some context and additional information
around that little blurb.

I too am making the assumption that we'll get something like the 30\45day
notice on the day hl2 ships, which is fine.  Be nice to know what they are
thinking even if it's not definate.

I suspect that it will happen somtime after the sucessfull release of HL2.
Which means it may happen towards the end of summer, or might not happen
until the end of the year. Anyone betting on a holiday release of HL2, with
WON getting shut off a few weeks/months later?

It's hard to say - Valve isn't sharing their thinking process or timetable,
I think that at this point it's a vague notion that they have that maybe
sometime this summer/fall they might shut off WON.
