This wasn't really the kind of response I was aiming for by bringing this to
your attention.

No one deserves to cheat VALVe out of their money when they've spent
millions of dollars and years developing this engine and game - they just
didn't anticipate people cracking steam like they have.

Give them a chance, programming something foolproof isn't exactly the
easiest task around.  Everyone underestimates the ingenuity of the common
fool ;)
