I know the majority of the people on this list are Valve haters, but...I'd like to say thank you to Alfred and Valve for an excellent job. I found a vulnerability in the source engine, and they fixed it and released the patch in about 10 hours (who said steam was a bad thing?).
Now that it is over...I'll share the details. It was basically a reiteration of the %n name bug. If you changed your name to %n and did a "status" command from the console, it would timeout all the clients from the server, just like the last known %n name exploit did. I stumbled upon this by accident while trying to punish the non-steam hackers.
