That intro in the first game built the anticipation and started the game out game great imo. I was just amazed at the graphics and became immersed in the story line. Besides all you had to do was hit esc (or was it space) and you could have skipped it if you wanted.

A long train ride would ONLY have been good if Gordon could have met Alyx there instead of later in the game!
