....which was too short...but still a fun game. The original hl had so much
depth, interesting puzzles that made it more than just point and shoot,
great graphics so it wasn't just using darkness as the enemy, there were
actual enemys. It wasn't like avp where you just run and something jumps
out of the dark and scares the shiznot out of you. The game actually had
some good ai and a point. avp was ok..but who needs the nightmares.:>)
..who needs to go blind from squinting in the dark either. I wonder if in
10-20 years people will start sueing game designers over their bad eyesight
from poorly lit games that used darkness as the gimic?

/sorry to jump off the technical again guys

Have a happy Thanksgiving all. :>)

Yes and if we didn't take that train ride as Gordon ... And ride by that
security Guard trying to get in the door ... we would never have had Blue
Shift.

That intro in the first game built the anticipation and started the game
out
game great imo. I was just amazed at the graphics and became immersed in
the story line. Besides all you had to do was hit esc (or was it space)
and
you could have skipped it if you wanted.
