Make sure your web server is not blocking files by their extensions.
I am using IIS 6, and mine will not send .bsp, .vmt, .vtf, etc. without
changing the web server's configuration.
So, others may encounter the same problem I had.

To verify this, enabled directory browsing on the web server, restart the
web server, browse to the maps subdirectory, right click on a .bsp file,
then "selected save target as." If you get an error, it may be blocked.
If .txt works, but .bsp does not, reconfigure you web server to allow the
unknown file extensions.

You can repeat for all other extensions in you .res files to verify each
type.

Subject: Re: [hlds] CSS Fast Downloads

Alfred,

I followed to the "T" what you said about the Fast downloads or custom map
content downloads and I have a slight problem with it.

I put several custom maps on my CS:S server. And while my cs_assault_mini
downloads everything fine, when I put iv_scoutzknivez on there it doesn't
download anything but the map.And everything is setup the exact same.Is this
a known problem or am I the only one having these issues?Anyone else know
anything about this?Cause I'm lost after tinkering for several hours.Any
help is appreciated.
