It's still crashing just the same as it did before. I'm going to try 5.3
on another box and see if that does the trick. Do you think I should try
a different linux emulation port?

You will more than likely need to recompile the kernel to enable SSE
options     CPU_ENABLE_SSE

This is default when detected on 5.X but 4.X is quite old now and needs
it enabling manually. I'd recommend upgrading to 5.3 if you can.
