Nice to see there's some foundation to the wild claims there.

While Valve as every company don't get everything right they
have produced the most popular online FPS game ever bar
none with a very respectable server that runs on both win32
and linux. They provide good support to the community, although
many don't thing so.

Try working with all the game companies like I do and do a
comparison. Valve would come very near the top in the
support they give. If you want an example of a truly terrible
company when it comes to the support of their published
games then you have to look no further than EA.

So just put your toys back in the pram there Ray and count
your blessings as if you think Valve support is poor you are
sorely mistaken it could be worse much worse.

I'd normally chose this opportunity to shoot my mouth off to Valve's
COMPLETE lack of consideration to the people that actually run the servers
their customers play on but I think it's being said well enough already.
Just add my name to the list of GSP's looking forward to ANY game that the
fragging public would like servers for that do NOT involve a label by
ValveSoftware on the cover.
