I open WMP, but play no file.  I just click the icon then minimize it.
Before joining the server to my AD I could run it as a service and never
think about it... however I've got some policy somewhere which obviously
restricts interaction as it has no effect if run as a service now.  I just
haven't had the time to put it on my A list of things to look at.

So do you have to leave it running clock.avi? is this the same for win2k
servers?
