We will look into this (it's a different subsystem to the scoreboard names however, so I suspect the bug is unrelated to that).

When I die I tend to go to map overview and I still see myself running around the map (it's someone else, it just happens to say my name under the circle) but if I first person cycle to them their name is correct at the bottom of the screen but still not on the map.
