I found a work around for the Bot issues caused by last nights patch. In the Mani-Admin tool forum, Ace Rimmer suggested using Matties Event Scripts to delay the start of your bot.cfg file by 5 seconds or so after the map start:
http://www.mani-admin-plugin.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7985&postdays=0& postorder=asc&&start=15 I tried it, restarted the server and it works great. I don't get the server/map full issue when it changes to the next map. My bots and players can enter the map and play away. After loading Mattie Event script onto the server, I added the following line to the bottom of my server.cfg: es_delayed 5 exec bot.cfg. I then restarted the server and forced a map change. Works now, not sure why, but it works. Thanks to Ace Rimmer for finding a solution. You can get the event scripts .dll here: http://www.sourcemod.net/~sourcemod/forums/viewtopic.php?t=908&sid=30ef1 7e16e76c5b62e5e67df31d66bda -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Saturday, May 14, 2005 1:32 AM To: [email protected] Subject: hlds digest, Vol 1 #3651 - 14 msgs Send hlds mailing list submissions to [email protected] To subscribe or unsubscribe via the World Wide Web, visit http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlds or, via email, send a message with subject or body 'help' to [EMAIL PROTECTED] You can reach the person managing the list at [EMAIL PROTECTED] When replying, please edit your Subject line so it is more specific than "Re: Contents of hlds digest..." When I play with bots on my server, it works for the starting map but once the second map is loaded, no one can join a team because the server says the teams are full. None the of the bots can join any of the teams either. I think this is a serious bug from the last patch. A few small client issues, that are generally resolved with the old "delete blob file" solution Updating HLSW does wonders too!
