I've got this in place via Sveasoft's Alchemy replacement firmware for my Linksys WRT54GS wireless router. At the moment I've got to add these custom patterns manually, but they seem keen on replacing their current patterns with ones that are currently working properly in their next release, so any help would certainly be appreciated by many! Clayton I use something similar on my firewall but much more simple. It can limit via ports and / or on ip address. For example, i only allow my girlfriend to use half of the available download speed and also prioritize all UDP ports and ports over 20000. This seems to keep my pings low what ever she is up to on her PC.

This can also be used for VOIP and other games software to make it much more stable.
