Sorry I am still not sure I understand 100% I have these de_map.bsp.bz2
files now for my Maps All I do it upload these files to the webserver in the
correct dir and the bz2 files will download and then the client will
decompress them? And I can use this for all files? Includeing sounds and
textures?

just take your existing, working http downloads, and then for each
directory of files issue a:
bzip2 *
and that's it.

Let me Get this right, If A use a downloadurl. I just have to up the
