Huh. In all the years I've been running servers, I've never seen this before. I banned a couple clowns from my server, and I looked up the IP in the logs and found out that one of the recent bannies was using HLTV to spectate my server. Which answers my question about banned people being able to do this - they can. That's not right - if you are banned from a server, you should not be able to spectate it via hltv.
