Top posting vs quoting vs bottom posting: There's arguments for them all and they all work well as long as people trim and cut responsibly, including only the information relevant to make the response comprehendible. Although 95% of the time top posting is quicker to deal with especially if you are reading threads as there is often no need to recap on something you have just read.
