This isn't that uncommon, unfortunately. The most common cause is that you
are behind the same NAT as your server is, and you are trying to connect to
your server via it's external IP. When I used a Cisco 678 I could do that,
but otherwise you have to use your internal IP address to connect. IE, if
your server is at 10.0.0.10, but it's external ip is 123.123.123.123, you
can NOT connect 123.123.123.123. You MUST connect 10.0.0.10.

If it still doesn't work, reply with what router you are using, what modem,
what internet service, etc.

I get this message everytime I try to join my own server,
but wait there's more!
Others, never get anything like that
but wait there's more!
Not only does it tell me this message, but after I enter
my password... IT LOOPS! Fun, eh?
It's kinda annoying... could someone plz help?
