I know this is not a big deal but why does it
overwrite the motd.txt in the first place ?

I remember when CSS first came out it did the same
thing but doesn't do it anymore as far as I know.

It just checks to see if a motd.txt exists, if it
doesn't then it puts one there.

What is the reason for overwriting motd.txt ? Was this
just a minor mistake left in to the DOD:S steam
updates ?
