I think from my perspective, I was only interested in whether it was possible. The way I see it, if I get 512 fps and there is a way to get 1000 fps, then I want to do it :)
If it's not technically possible, then I still don't have a problem as 512 fps will work fine. My questions were more just for informational purposes, to see what was possible and not possible. I'm happy to settle for 512 fps :) Regards, Adam -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Whisper Sent: Thursday, 16 February 2006 01:00 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [hlds] getting 1000fps on HLDS (about timers) -- [ Picked text/plain from multipart/alternative ] A 2ms I/O delay is not really something to get all that worked up about either. :) On 2/16/06, Gary <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Windows is -not- an realtime OS... you will never get a deterministic > behavior to the way you want it.
