Through 3rd party hardware, yes (OK You can connect them but they don't work through the XBoxInput API ... a similar situation exists on the Xbox360 ... though on the 360 it IS possible to add the support through the new Input API.) In reality it's not nearly the difference you think it is. I have seen a few very good players using Xbox360 controllers at LAN Parties.
