Perhaps contact your data provider and ask them what the resources are like on the box your server is on.

Hey All, We've been noticing some funky choppiness (low FPS from rcon "stats," low IN for clients) on all of our main pubs. They're all run independently (different datacenters) and uniquely (different plugins), so there aren't too many common factors apart from our shared banlists. Currently, our banned_user.cfg is about 206kb with just over 7800 bans. exec banned_user.cfg is only in our autoexec, but anytime a remote admin modifies and writes the ban list, I'm assuming it's exec'd. All of our servers are remotely hosted from aim2game, and we don't have access to resource monitors to detect any correlation between banlist exec's and this weird choppiness. Does anyone have any firsthand experience with large lists like this causing performance issues?
