Hi,

As promised, here is a collection of memory readings I manually took
every so often (i.e. when I remembered to look at the RDP).

http://www.bart666.com/stuff/srcdsmem.txt

These were taken based on what Process Explorer was saying (the
SysInternals task manager replacement). You'll see from the numbers
that they gradually increase over time.

And, as I have developer mode enabled on the server, over the last day
or so, lots of timing debug messages have gradually started spamming in
the server console (as shown in text file). There are increasing delays
between round end and round start in the game as the memory usage
increases, too.

I think a notable reason for the memory increases is due to a map
change. I have the server set to change maps every hour, which is when
it appears that a few megabytes suddenly gets added to the total count -
but, can't really confirm that without sitting there watching it all day
(don't have the time to do that ;).

Thoughts?

Bart

What would be better, and what would be more likely to get the attention
of Valve, is periodic memory consumption readings. Take a reading every
hour for a few days and see what the trend is. Does it eventually
stabalize? Does it keep going up? How high does it get before something
gives?
