Dear colleagues, I wonder if anyone uses dual processor systems based on Intel Xeon 51xx family. What I'm interested in is how many 100 tickrate slots with FPS booster such system can handle. Low-end dual 5110 system seems to be pretty reasonably priced but I wonder does it have any performance advantage over old-fashioned dual P4 system. Any information on the subject will be much appreciated.
