For the last couple of months our server stability has been rather bad and we've been pulling our hair out trying to track down the issue. We had narrowed it down to a system we have in place that sends periodic rcon status commands to all the servers (we use this to enforce a badnames check and to allow us to kick and ban players via a web interface / IRC). As there was nothing clear to be found in the server logs and the crashes output 0kb minidump files, I finally resorted to setting up a screen recorder on my PC and recorded 14 hours of video from an remote desktop window connected to one of the game server hosts. I've scrubbed through the video and grabbed a screenshot of the moment the crash happens, check out the attached file. It seems to me that an rcon status sent from our system right between round end and round start has caused some crazy error to be thrown with in the SRCDS process. http://fuzzyslogic.com/temp/cssource_crash.png For now we've disabled our banning system, but feel that we should point out the problem as a simple rcon status command should not cause these kinds of issues.
