Valve

http://www.steampowered.com/stats/csmarket/

Maverick M4A1 Carbine
current price
$4,312
projected price
$24,088 (+458.63%)

These are Counter-Strike Players

Were no safeguards built into the DWP system whatsoever?

Like:

1. Only counting 1 weapon purchase per round?

2. Not counting bots?

3. Only counting official Valve provided maps with round times that fall
within certain parameters

4. Some sort of statistical analysis to smooth out the highs and lows (I
know for a fact you have quite a few mathematicians working for you Valve,
so this ought not to be a major stretch)

Anyhow, it was a nice idea in theory, but theory has quite quickly run into
the reality which is the Counter-Strike community, and now we are all
reaping the results.

I'm sure the price will eventually fall now that nobody can purchase the
gun, but I don't think this was your intention, was it Valve?

Anyhow, if this doesn't cause Dynamic Weapon Pricing to be switched off by
the vast majority of all server operators, I don't know what will

Cheers
