Damn... What chance does the average person have?  You do everything your 
supposed to do, indeed... forced to do, and your reward is that your systems no 
longer work.  I wish I had something helpful to say buddy... is there any way 
to uninstall the updates?  Did you try reinstalling Steam?

After I updated my PC with today's updates (including IE7) my steam client
will not run.



Crashes every time with:



Steam.exe (main exception): Win32 StructuredException at 000010A2 : Attempt
to read from virtual address 4258 without appropriate access rights.



Anyone else got this?
