I know it's way off topic... and I'm running the risk of offending some people... but I can't resist. :)~
Here goes... I bought a house when I was 35 and took out a 15 year mortgage. I can remember at the time thinking to myself Wow! By the time I pay this off I'll be 50 years old... I'll be an old man. Well... I paid off the mortgage right on time and nothing was different. I still loved all the same things... I still rode my motorcycle... still loved boating and skiing and flying... still did all the same things I did when I was 35. The only difference was that at 50 I could afford it. hehehe. Now I'm 60 and I'm still waiting to become an old man but it's just not happening. I'm a little stiffer and a few more things hurt but not enough to complain about.
