Right .. I like the idea of having a centralized database, like hlstatsx, but use it for what it's worth .. I would go a lot heavier on cross-server statistics. I think not having the ability to track a players' stats across servers is a loss. But also give a lot more raw data to the users (that might be a premium option?) like xml feeds and a full API, depending on what the system ends up doing. This is the kind of stuff I'm looking at. If collecting data and building simplistic stats is free, would server admins contribute their data? I think PS and hlstats are good products .. but I think they could do better.
