This is the problem (IMO) with a move to a forum. This list pretty much stays effective and pretty mature because it's fairly obscure, if you want/need to know about it, you do.
It's not exactly hidden, but It's not at the bottom of the steam forums, which are very active, but, well not (IMO) suited to getting straight answers to complicated issues from people who know their shit. Personally, I feel if we were forced to move to a forum, I'd struggle to continue to support valve products, I do this as a hobby. I don't have the time to look at yet another forum, but I can deal with an email or 5 an hour, keeps me up-to-date enough to be able to provide decent servers without eating into my gaming time.
