I don't know why you guys are saying this will give you a break from cheating. There are still plenty of OB hacks out there and some of the beta testers in our community are already reportedly seeing them in servers. True there are plenty of CSS Hackers out there, but the vast majority of them can be dealt with using server plugins.
All this update means to me is that we can now I bet we can expect to see regular updates for CSS from Valve again that break plugins and cause problems for server admins, just like we see happening with TF2 all the time. Sorry I'm so skeptical, but CSS have been running great for us for a very long time and I'm very leery about this whole thing. Granted this is a beta release, but it's especially worrisome when our players are already reporting major bugs, glitchy gameplay and seeing cheaters. I guess time will tell, but I expected more than this for the re-release of CS: Source, the best game of all time. -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of HL-SDK Synths Sent: Tuesday, May 11, 2010 2:48 PM To: Half-Life dedicated Win32 server mailing list Cc: [email protected] Subject: Re: [hlds] COUNTER-STRIKE: SOURCE BETA Hear Hear!
