Ah it's just a couple of dumb kids who enjoy exploiting source engine exploits to annoy us (uploading trojans via a garrysmod datastream exploit, stealing gamemodes, DDoSing communities etc). I can sort most of them out and they do no real damage to us personally, but other communities aren't as capable at defending against them (having their SQL hacked and wiped and taken from them - they had to pay $400 to get it back).
The server is a Garry's Mod server, it's community drama really, but I've got it sorted. The reason I brought this up was because I wasn't sure Valve knew about this.
