There's nothing wrong with virtualization, you get what you pay for. My buddy is renting a vps from NFO, and he's running a tf2, gmod and css server. Netgraph doesn't show any choke, and the fps's remain consistent. I honestly do believe it's advanced far enough to actually be useful in this manner, so why not take advantage of it if you're running on a tight budget?
