They hadn't yet. And after watching videos of people playing the beta I see it's for a good reason too, they're basically testing various scenarios right now (everyone plays one gamemode on one map) to balance things out, which I find a pretty interesting way to run a beta. But when they do, I'm pretty sure they let us know that it's available. :)
