Well, they claimed after CS:GO was announced and this happened, that wouldn't occur, however it has *Shocker*. Remember, if any shared content (materials/sounds/models) changes, CS:S will "update" as well.
To the best of my knowledge, the last real CS:S update occurred on February 9th, the rest have been shared client changes. We're now 10 updates behind, 3 with 'announced' engine changes. Kyle.
