This is a mailing list focused around the operation of steam servers. If people are compromising your machine through other vectors outside of the steam server binaries, there is little advice we could give that you wouldn't be better suited pursuing on, say, a web server administration forum.
We are not your personal army of network security specialists. This is like if you wrote to the mailing list for a car mechanic group, complaining that you left your car unlocked on a busy street and it was broken into, and while you know that leaving it unlocked was silly, you find installing locks difficult and does anyone have any solutions for how to make the car harder to break into that don't involve locking the doors? We are busy trying to help people keep their cars running, sorry. Please understand that I mean my satire to serve as a gentle and amusing correction, not a negative flame. I would advise you to consider moving to a more secure blogging framework, or consider investing in separate servers if keeping your wordpress is vital. Barring the offending IP ranges from connecting to your server might be beneficial as well. So would doing a little research of your own on how to secure a server. Hope you have a nice day. It's no secret using WordPress may not be a secure platform, but seriously, why waste your time with a reply so negative in a environment that is here to support and help others? Explain this to me.
